Dwayne Johnsonnal ünnepli első szülinapját a Madame Tussauds Budapest. A hollywoodi világsztár mától a Palazzo Dorottya falai között várja a látogatókat. A Szikla maga is részt vett az impozáns figura kialakításában, amely néhány hónapig lesz látható Budapesten.
Pontosan egy évvel ezelőtt nyitotta meg a kapuit a Madame Tussauds Budapest a belvárosi Palazzo Dorottyában. A produkció 52 figurával, köztük 17 magyar vonatkozású viaszmással vezeti be a látogatókat a hírességek csillogó világába.
Az ünnepen leplezték le napjaink egyik legsokoldalúbb és szó szerint leghatalmasabb hollywoodi sztárjának figuráját a Madame Tussauds Budapestben. Dwayne Johnson egyszerre színész, profi pankrátor, testépítő ikon, amerikai futball liga tulajdonos, üzletember és producer, akit tömegek követnek szerte a világon – csak az Instagramon közel 400 millió rajongó kíváncsi a történeteire.
Dwayne Johnson a Madame Tussauds egyik legnépszerűbb egyéniségei közé tartozik, többek között Londonban, New Yorkban, Las Vegasban, Dubaiban, Amszterdamban és Berlinben is találkozhatnak figurájával a rajongók. Érthető a vonzalom: mindenki szívesen szelfizik a Sziklával.
A félig szamoai származású világsztár maga is aktívan részt vett a figura kialakításában – 2019-ben modellt ült a Madame Tussauds viaszművészeinek. Több ezer felvétel készült a Szikláról, az adatok alapján a szakemberek több hónapnyi munkával alkották meg a vörös szőnyegen pózoló Dwayne Johnson hasonmást, amellyel maga az alany is nagyon elégedett volt. Dwayne Johnson többször találkozott már “önmagával”, sőt a viaszmás öltözékeit is a színész választotta ki. A Dubaiból érkezett figura annak a púderkék öltönynek a másolatában feszít, amelyikben Dwayne Johnson a Skyscraper című film New York-i premierjén is megjelent.
Dwayne Johnson járt már Budapesten, sőt 174 napon keresztül az otthonának is mondhatta a várost. A Herkules forgatása miatt időzött nálunk a színész, főleg Pátyon és Rákospalotán dolgozott a stáb, köztük 500 magyar statiszta. Érdekesség, hogy a Madame Tussauds Budapest egy másik sztárja, a topmodell Palvin Barbara is játszik egy kisebb szerepet a filmben. Dwayne Johnson itteni tartózkodása alatt szinte minden nap ellátogatott egy budai konditerembe. Később magyarul is beszélt pár mondatot: kampányvideót küldött egy miskolci gimnázium diákigazgató-választására.
A meglepetések sora nem ér véget: a Madame Tussauds Budapest hamarosan újabb sztárok érkezését jelenti be, nemsokára két állandó figurával 54-re bővül a hírességek névsora.

Madame Tussauds Budapest celebrates its first birthday with Dwayne Johnson. From now on, the Hollywood star awaits visitors in Palazzo Dorottya. The Rock itself participated in the creation of the imposing figure, which will be on display in Budapest for a few months.
Madame Tussauds Budapest opened its doors exactly one year ago in the downtown Palazzo Dorottya. The production introduces visitors to the sparkling world of celebrities with 52 figures, including 17 Hungarian-related wax figures.
During the celebration, the figure of one of today’s strongest and most versatile Hollywood stars was unveiled at Madame Tussauds Budapest. Dwayne Johnson is an actor, professional wrestler, bodybuilding icon, American Football League owner, businessman and producer who is followed by many people worldwide – nearly 400 million fans are interested in his stories on Instagram alone.
Dwayne Johnson is one of the most popular figures at Madame Tussauds, fans can meet his figure for instance, in London, New York, Las Vegas, Dubai, Amsterdam and Berlin, among other cities. The attraction is understandable: everyone would like to take a selfie with The Rock.
The half-Samoan world star himself actively participated in the creation of the figure – in 2019, he modelled for the Madame Tussauds wax artists. Thousands of shots were taken of the Rock, and based on the data, the professionals spent several months creating a lookalike of Dwayne Johnson posing on the red carpet, with which the subject himself was very satisfied. Dwayne Johnson has met „himself” several times, and even the clothes of the figure were chosen by the actor. The figure that arrived from Dubai is in a copy of the powder blue suit in which Dwayne Johnson appeared at the New York premiere of the movie Skyscraper.
Dwayne Johnson has already visited Budapest, and even called the city his home for 174 days. The actor stayed with us for the filming of Herkules, during which the crew mainly worked at Páty and Rákospalota, with 500 Hungarian extras. Fun fact: another star of Madame Tussauds Budapest, top model Barbara Palvin, also plays a minor role in the film. Dwayne Johnson visited a gym in Buda almost every day during his stay here. Later, he also spoke a few sentences in Hungarian: he sent a campaign video for the student director election of a high school in Miskolc.
The list of surprises continues: Madame Tussauds Budapest will soon announce the arrival of new stars, and the list of celebrities will soon be expanded to 54 with the addition of two permanent figures.
