Lézeres megfigyelőrendszer és mozgásérzékelő figyeli a KOMPLEX zárvartartása alatt is Tutanhamon maszkját, a Tutanhamon kiállítás szervezői gőzerővel dolgoznak az újranyitáson.
A Tutanhamon Kiállítás minden rejtélye és kincse is karantén alá került márciusban Budapesten, a Király utcai KOMPLEX-ben. A szervezők a megfelelő biztonsági intézkedések mellett gondoskodtak a kincsek felügyeletéről, viszont a legnagyobb érdeklődést kiváltó tárgy, Tutanhamon halotti maszkjának őrzése szigorúbb előírásokat kívánt.
„Tutanhamon fáraó arcára temetésekor gyönyörű, tizenegy kilogrammos aranymaszkot helyeztek, a múmiapólyákba pedig különféle amuletteket rejtettek. Maga a múmia azonban meglehetősen rossz állapotban volt a balzsamozáskor használt olajok túlzott alkalmazása miatt. Egyébként Tutanhamon jelenleg is sírjában nyugszik, üvegvitrinben. A halotti maszkja és a Budapesten látható másolata is rejtélyes titkokat őriz: a fiatalság, az időtlenség misztikumát, aminek különlegessége nemzetközi kutatócsoportokat is megmozgatott” – mondta Oláh Zsuzsanna, majd kitért az ismert fáraók halotti maszkjai alatt rejtett valódi kinézetükre is.
„A maszk az elmúlt több ezer évben nemcsak látvány volt, hanem elfedés is. Igaz ez a halotti maszkokra, ami a fáraó szépségét hivatott kihangsúlyozni, de a valóság sokkal meglepőbb. Noferitinél például a pofacsontok kevésbé kifejezettek, az orrnyergen kis dudor található, a száj szegletében és az arcon finom ráncok húzódnak, valamint a híres, óriási mandulavágású szemeknek is kissé más rajzolata van. Kleopátra pedig keleties vonásokat mutató, és inkább vonzó nő volt. Tutanhamon halotti maszkja láttán pedig mindenkiben felmerül a kérdés: hogyan nézhetett ki valójában a legismertebb fáraó?” – zárta Oláh Zsuzsanna.
A JVS Group Magyarország kommunikációs vezetője hangsúlyozta: lézeres megfigyelőrendszer, mozgásérzékelő és váltott műszakban, 24 órás felügyeletben dolgozó biztonsági szolgálat felügyeli a Király utcai KOMPLEX-ben őrzött halotti maszkot, melynek látványával a látogatók hamarosan újra testközelből szembesülhetnek.
A budapesti KOMPLEX-ben hamarosan látogatható lesz a Tutanhamon kiállítás, jegyek korlátozott számban lesznek elérhetőek az ismert jegyirodáknál, illetve a helyszínen.
Mysterious secrets are kept at Budapest by the locked down death mask of Tutankhamun
A laser surveillance system and a motion sensor monitors Tutankhamun’s mask even during the lockdown of the KOMPLEX, and the organizers of the Tutankhamun exhibition are working tirelessly on the reopening.
All the mysteries and treasures of the Tutankhamun Exhibition were quarantined in March at the KOMPLEX on Király utca in Budapest. The organizers took care of the treasures under appropriate security measures, but the guarding of Tutankhamun’s death mask, the most interesting item, required stricter regulations.
“At the funeral of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun, a beautiful eleven-pound golden mask was placed on the face of the mummy, and various amulets were hidden in the mummy bandages. However, the mummy itself was in a rather bad condition due to the excessive use of oils used in embalming. Incidentally, Tutankhamun is still resting in his grave in a glass case. His death mask and it’s copy in Budapest also hold mysterious secrets: the mystique of youth and timelessness, the uniqueness of which also moved international research groups, ”said Zsuzsanna Oláh, and then revealed their true appearance hidden under the death masks of well-known pharaohs.
“The mask has been not only a sight but a cover-up for the past thousands of years. This is true of death masks, which are meant to emphasize the beauty of the pharaoh, but the reality is much more surprising. With Nofertiti, for example, the jaw bones are less pronounced, there is a small bump on the bridge of the nose, delicate wrinkles in the corner of the mouth and on the face, and the famous, giant almond-shaped eyes also have a slightly different design. Cleopatra was a woman with oriental features and more attractive. And seeing Tutankhamun’s death mask, the question arises in everyone: what could the best-known pharaoh really look like? ” Zsuzsanna Oláh concluded.
The Head of Communications of JVS Group Hungary emphasized that a laser surveillance system, a motion sensor and a security service working in shifts and 24-hour surveillance supervise the death mask guarded at the KOMPLEX Király Street, the sight of which visitors will soon be able to face again.
The Tutankhamun exhibition will soon be available at the KOMPLEX in Budapest, and a limited number of tickets will be available at well-known ticket offices and on site.
